Aisle order

A shopping list in the order you walk the shop.

ShoppingListr sorts your shopping list into the order you walk your supermarket, so you go round once without doubling back. Set it up for each store you use, whether you shop in person or online.

How aisle order works

  1. Put the categories in your order

Your list is grouped into categories like Fruit & veg, Bakery and Dairy. Drag them into the order you walk round your usual supermarket.

  2. Items land in the right place

Every item belongs to a category, so it always appears in the right part of the list. New items you add get a category suggested for them.

  3. Shop from top to bottom

Work down the list as you go round the store, ticking things off. When the shop's done, clear the ticked items in one go.

Questions about sorting your shopping list

Can each supermarket have its own order?

Yes. Once you've added two or more stores, each one can have its own order, so the list matches whichever shop you're in. A new store starts from your usual order, so you only move what's different.

What if I shop at more than one store on a trip?

Choose the stores you're going to and the order you visit them. The list is split into a section for each store, with each item under the store where you buy it, so you finish one shop before starting the next.

Does it work for online shopping?

Yes. Pick your online store, and every item on your list gets a Search button that opens it on that store's website. Asda, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose are ready to choose, and you can add any other by pasting its search address.

Does it add things to my online basket?

No. Search opens the store's own website or app, where you add things to your basket as usual and then tick them off in ShoppingListr. It doesn't read prices or stock.

Do I have to set up a store?

No. Without one, the list simply follows the order of your categories, which you can change at any time. Stores are there for when you want a different order for each shop, or searches for an online one.
