Terms
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Fuzza Ltd for using ShoppingListr, the app at app.shoppinglistr.com. Please read them carefully, and in particular sections 4 to 7 and 13, which limit what we are responsible for. By creating an account you confirm that you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use ShoppingListr.
1. Who we are
ShoppingListr is run by Fuzza Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17490817), whose registered office is at 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF.
In these terms, Fuzza Ltd is “we”, “us” and “our”. You can contact us at info [at] shoppinglistr.com.
2. Who can use ShoppingListr
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Each account is for one person. The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep your email address up to date.
- We'll send you the emails needed to run your account, such as confirming your address, sign-in codes and password resets, and to tell you about significant changes. We don't send marketing without your permission. Our Privacy Policy lists the emails we send.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account, and you must tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- ShoppingListr is for your personal, household use only, not for any business or commercial purpose.
3. Households
- ShoppingListr is built around households. Everything added to a household (recipes, meal plans, the shopping list, stores and settings) can be seen and changed by every member of that household.
- Household admins can change members' roles, and deactivate or remove members. Who you invite, and what they do, is between you and them. We are not responsible for what other members of your household add, change or delete.
- If you leave a household or your account is deleted, what you added stays with the household for its other members. If the last member leaves, the household and everything in it are deleted.
4. The service we provide
ShoppingListr is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. In particular:
- We can change it at any time. We may add, change, limit or remove any feature, or change how ShoppingListr looks or works, whenever we choose, without notice.
- We don't promise to maintain it. We have no obligation to maintain, support, update, upgrade or fix ShoppingListr, or to keep any feature or version available.
- We don't promise it will always work. ShoppingListr may be unavailable, slow, interrupted or contain errors. Changes made offline may not sync, or may sync in a different order from the one you expect.
- We can stop providing it. We may suspend or permanently close ShoppingListr, or any part of it, at any time and for any reason, without notice.
- We use other providers. We use third-party service providers to deliver ShoppingListr, and we don't guarantee their availability or performance.
5. Your content and keeping your own copies
You are responsible for keeping your own copy of anything in ShoppingListr that matters to you, such as a favourite recipe. We don't promise:
- to back up your content or your household's content, or to restore it if it is lost, corrupted or deleted; or
- to provide any way to export or download your content, including if we close your account or ShoppingListr itself.
This doesn't affect your rights under data protection law, such as your right to ask for a copy of your personal information, which are explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Food, allergies and your safety
ShoppingListr is a tool for organising meals and shopping. It does not give dietary, nutritional, medical or food-safety advice, and nothing in it should be read as advice.
- You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of anyone you cook or shop for. That includes checking for allergens and intolerances, meeting dietary, religious or medical requirements, and handling, storing and cooking food safely.
- Recipes are yours to check. Every recipe in ShoppingListr is created, pasted or imported by users. We don't write, review or verify recipes, and they may be incomplete or wrong, including their ingredients, quantities, times and temperatures.
- The app can get things wrong. Anything ShoppingListr works out or suggests, including recipes filled in from photos, pasted text or a web address, categories, matched items, scaled quantities and unit conversions, may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always check it against the original recipe and the product's own packaging and labels.
- Don't rely on ShoppingListr to manage an allergy or medical condition. Always read the label of what you buy.
7. Other websites and retailers
ShoppingListr can open other websites, such as a retailer's product search, and can read recipes from websites you choose. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for them, or for their content, prices, product availability, accuracy or terms. Anything you buy is between you and the retailer.
8. Your content
- You keep ownership of the content you add to ShoppingListr.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt, transmit and display that content as needed to operate, provide and improve ShoppingListr. This includes sharing it with the other members of your household and with our service providers.
- You also allow us to use information derived from your content, in anonymised and aggregated form that doesn't identify you or your household, for any purpose, including developing and improving our services. This continues after your account is closed.
- You promise that you have the right to add your content, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Recipes published by other people may be protected by copyright; if you paste or import them, you do so for your own personal use and at your own responsibility.
- We may remove any content, at any time, if we reasonably think it breaks these terms or the law.
9. Using ShoppingListr properly
You must not:
- use ShoppingListr for anything unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive, or to store or share offensive material;
- try to access another household's content, or anyone else's account;
- interfere with, disrupt or overload ShoppingListr, or try to get around any security or usage limit;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access or copy ShoppingListr;
- copy, modify, sell, rent or resell ShoppingListr, or reverse engineer or decompile it, except as far as the law allows; or
- introduce viruses or any other harmful code.
10. Our rights
We, or our licensors, own all rights in ShoppingListr, including its software, design, text, graphics, name and logo. ShoppingListr is a trade mark of Fuzza Ltd. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use ShoppingListr for your own household under these terms. No other rights are given to you. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without paying you or crediting you, including quoting them on our website and in our marketing. We won't put your name to a quote without asking you first.
11. Ending this agreement
- You can stop at any time. You can stop using ShoppingListr whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account by emailing info [at] shoppinglistr.com.
- We can suspend or close accounts at any time. We may suspend or close your account, or any household, at any time, for any reason or none, with or without notice. That includes where we think you have broken these terms, and where we close ShoppingListr altogether.
- What happens next. When your account is closed, your permission to use ShoppingListr ends, and your content may be deleted permanently and can't be recovered (see section 5). Sections 5 to 8, 10, 11 and 13 to 18 continue to apply.
12. Charges
ShoppingListr is free at the moment. If we introduce charges for all or part of it, we'll tell you in advance, and you won't have to pay anything unless you agree to.
13. Our responsibility to you
Because ShoppingListr is free, and as far as the law allows:
- we give no promises, warranties or guarantees about ShoppingListr, its content or its results, whether express or implied, including that it will be accurate, reliable, secure, available, free of errors or fit for any particular purpose;
- we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from: your use of, or inability to use, ShoppingListr; any change to, suspension of or withdrawal of ShoppingListr or any feature; the loss, corruption or deletion of any content; anything done by other members of your household; recipes, or anything ShoppingListr works out or suggests; the food you buy, prepare or eat, including any allergic reaction or illness; or other websites and retailers;
- we are not responsible for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any business loss, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or data;
- we are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control; and
- in any case, our total liability to you for everything arising from or in connection with ShoppingListr and these terms will not be more than £50.
14. What we don't exclude
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. Every limit in these terms applies only as far as the law allows.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page and updating the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app. If you keep using ShoppingListr after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree with them, you must stop using ShoppingListr and may ask us to delete your account.
16. Your information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
17. General
- These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about ShoppingListr.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. You may not transfer yours.
- Nobody else has any right to enforce these terms.
- If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
18. Complaints and the law that applies
- If you have a complaint, please email info [at] shoppinglistr.com first and we'll try to sort it out.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
- ShoppingListr is run from the UK. You may use it from other countries, but we don't promise that it is suitable or available there. If you live outside the UK, you keep any protections given to you by the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
